Obama Calls on America's Women to Continue Schooling and He's Footing the Bill!

Women in the United States of America (and elsewhere) recognize more and more that education is their ticket to economic success. However, while women are now graduating high school at higher rates than men in America, it is still the case that a higher proportion of males in the general population have a bachelor's degree or higher. Thus, partly because of their higher education levels compared to women in the society at large, men still wield the most economic and political power, and dominate decision-making processes that affect everyone.

It is clear that in order to help bring about a reversal of this state of affairs, more and more women need to continue to study and to qualify with a higher degree beyond high school. The current administration under President Obama realizes the necessity to address gender inequality in American society, and is calling upon all women, including mothers, to get themselves educated by returning to school and to obtain a higher college or university degree. To show his seriousness, the President has enacted legislation which compels the federal government to make available millions of dollars each year for America's women to help them pay their tuition costs.

The application process is easy. Suitable candidates - American women above age 18 - apply for and can receive up to $10,000 in scholarship funds. The scholarships are interest free and do not have be paid back.

So apply for these scholarships and go back to school, mothers and women of America. In this manner you will be laying a solid foundation towards building an America which values and practices gender equality.
