Women Who Play Sports Are at an Advantage Over the Ones That Don't

Women who do not play sports will find themselves at a disadvantage in the work place. In America business are setup around the principles of organization, structure and relationships acquired by interaction with other people. Men learn these things through the participation in sports.



Sports has been the most important way to learn these things. Men start to learn these things at an early age when they join the little league or play peewee football or baseball.



Up until recently, only boys and men participated at a level that can teach them the skills they will be using for the rest of their lives in business.



They do not even realize this.



The male business model may be the current one, but, that is slowly changing. More women are rising to to the top of their professions and changing this model.



They are changing it to one of taking into account the needs of people, group decision making and cooperation between all parties.



With men and boys in sports there are unwritten rules that are followed. Women who do not understand this or what the rules are put themselves at a great disadvantage.



Some of the rules women need to know are;



1) Men choose players to be on their team by what they can do and who has the best skills to help them win.



They are not chosen by how much someone likes someone else.



2) Even if a man is not that skilled at what he does, they will carry themselves with the confidence that they can get the job done anyway. They are taught and learn not to show fear.



3) Mistakes will be made. Just do not make the same mistake twice that will end in the same result. This is annoying and really frowned upon by men.



To give women a better chance in an America ruled by the rules of sports, you must teach your daughters at an early age what these unwritten rules are.



By having them participate in sports such as basketball, They will soon learn what boys are learning too.
